Manual Mode

The Atola Insight gives the user direct access to all firmware files and modules including those stored in ROM/EEPROM/NVRAM
chips of the supported drives. In the manual mode the firmware files can be quickly and easily edited, verified, replaced, or
erased using the Insight’s smooth and user-friendly interface.

Automatic Mode

In automatic mode, the program first creates full firmware backup, diagnoses the problem, and then takes all necessary steps to recover the drive.

The automatic mode saves significant amount of time since most firmware issues can be recovered without operator's supervision.

Just click the Automatic Recovery tab to see if the connected hard drive model is supported for this function.

If a drive is supported, the function can be started
with one more click of the mouse and is usually
finished in less than 5 minutes.

Firmware Backup

This feature allows to save all firmware files (modules) and ROM/EEPROM/NVRAM images in the most reliable and convenient way of supported drives.

Creating full backups is no more a pain; it is done by just two mouse clicks.

Firmware Database

Firmware Database is there when you need to recover a hard drive with badly damaged firmware: in most cases you can make use of firmware files created from a similar hard drive.
